What is Jan Kalyan Avom Bal Vikas Sastha Charitable Society?

The JAN KALYAAN AVOM BAL VIKAS SANSTHA is a voluntary organization in India working with children and adults who have developmental and other disabilities. As a resource centre for people with special needs, we provide early intervention services, livelihoods development, education, training and awareness. We believe that when we plan for the most vulnerable the world works better for everyone. Our rights-based approach challenges injustice and demonstrates how inclusion works. If you are a person with disability, a parent, a professional or someone who cares, there’s a place for you in the Jan Kalyaan society.

The vision of the organization is to create a future where all individuals , or groups, with disabilities are allowed to participate in any environment which focuses on the internationally recognized human rights, standards and values.

Our Mission

The mission and aims of the organization is to help those individuals with intellectual disabilities, such as autism or cerebral palsy, get involved in the political, economical and social development of India by: Providing them with additional educational support to help increase their independence in employment and offering encouragement to help them become a productive and functioning member of society. supporting the members of society so that they understand the disabilities and are able to promote equality.
